Dedicated Care provides an ongoing relationship with a primary care physician, supported by a clinical team that helps coordinate appointments, referrals, results, and follow-up care. While Year-Round Care is designed for episodic healthcare needs, Dedicated Care offers a more personalized primary care experience focused on continuity, prevention, and long-term health management. 

Yes. Dedicated Care is ideal for individuals and families seeking a primary care physician who can provide ongoing, comprehensive care. Just like any other family doctor, your dedicated physician becomes familiar with your health history, risk factors, and goals, allowing for more personalized recommendations and proactive health management over time. 

Dedicated Care members can book same- or next-day appointments for both urgent and routine concerns, available virtually or in person. Members can also receive after-hours medical advice and same-day responses to urgent medical inquiries through their care team, helping ensure timely access to support when it's needed most.

Your care is supported by a team of nurses and care coordinators who can assist with appointment scheduling, referrals, results reporting, prescription requests, and ongoing care coordination. This collaborative approach helps simplify the healthcare experience and ensures important follow-ups don't fall through the cracks. In addition to regular care, your Dedicated Care physician can also conduct your Annual Health Assessment, providing in-depth support and developing a personalized, proactive care plan just for you. 

In addition to personalized primary care, Dedicated Care includes after-hours nursing support, global travel medical assistance, secure access to your medical records through myMedcan, Medcan Dollars that can be applied toward eligible services, and preferred rates on the Annual Health Assessment and other proactive health services. 

The cost of a Dedicated Care membership (per year) is $4175 plus tax for an individual and $3290 plus tax for children. This membership fee is for uninsured services only. Depending on your coverage, Dedicated Care may be eligible for reimbursement through a Health Spending Account (HSA) or other group benefits programs. Eligibility varies by provider and plan, so we recommend checking with your insurer to confirm your available coverage and reimbursement options.
